External Antenna Port

After doing some Google searching I have learned that my Transform Ultra has an external antenna port behind the battery - NOW, what I'm wondering is where to find & purchase an antenna & how in the world would it fit under the battery?

Thanks so much in advance :)

Those ports are used by the carriers to hook up their test equipment during the phone testing and certification process.

Alternatively You would probably have to call Boost to see if they know of an antenna compliant for the TU or maybe Best Buy

If I'm getting really bad signal i stick a paper clip or something thin around enough that's good antenna material to boost my reception right into the slot that's on the bottom of the phone next left of the charging port. Just don't expect miracle's especially from anything you buy offline haha

hmmm, you mean in the microphone hole  ??? i bet the people on the other line love that...:D lol...

sounds like a good trick if it works but i would be careful not to bust the mic! ;)

Yes I do mean the micro phone hole  and i have it bent so it goes up to r port underneath the battery where the antenna is.

You can't use the external

and the other one labeled G is for the WiFi

there are adapters but i don't think you can have them and the battery in at the same time even if you could they can't be plugged into very often they don't have a long life span

anyway they sell things like repeaters and wireless boosters, if your're at the home or the office or hell even if your on the go that are going to do a whole lot more for you than plugging in an antenna or a paperclip:eek:

but sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures, and not everyone gets to run 6 bars in the middle of nowhere and pull 3.0mbps but i'm not complaining

though maybe i had you confused i didn't insert in the slot but more configured it around so it would fit with the battery unfortunately our phones have everything tucked away
