Help external Keyboard is a POS

Droid 2 Global (it is running 2.2 for the OS)

I am trying to use the external keyboard to put in a backslash ("\") but hitting the ALT + SPACE (should give me SYM) does nothing. ALT LOCK doesn't seem to work at all either.

I am having better luck with the virtual keyboard but I thought I would ask if this is an issue with the DROID 2 (base) as well? Or if it is just the D2G so far...

Apparently I've never used the backslash with the physical keyboard.

Just tried it to answer your question and it worked just fine.

"regular" D2, worked 4 me... Needed alt + space

Worked also w/ Swype virtual kb, preloaded.
