External MicroSD as Internal SD Card

I have looked over the internet and I can't find a solid answer, I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace II (Rooted) With 1.20GB System Storage, 1.10GB USB Storage and a external MicroSD card with 8.00GB.

Is it possible to have my apps / games on my External MicroSD Card and my media files etc on my USB Storage

Please give me a definite answer and I am willing to do almost everything for it to work (Mind you ROM Manager doesn't work on my phone)

Please Don't Move My Post To The Samsung Galaxy Ace II Forums As There Is Hardly Anyone Online There.

I've seen this done on my phone, the EvoLTE, but I'm having a little bit of difficulty finding anything for yours. :(

It's possible, but I'm unsure how to do it myself. My apologies.:o

Thanks for the quick reply, Im glad to know it can be done, But wouldnt the procedure be the same, because all android with the same firmware (in my case gingerbread 2.3.6) Have the same file system structure I suppose. So If you find anything please respond back

Usually a root can solve this issue and allow it to be done, that is usually what the lacking formula in the equation is: A lack of privileges.

There was a app called directorybinds available for rooted devices which allowed you to do this, more or less.

Basically it directs file/s to a folder of your choice on your sdcard, simalar to symbolic links with windows/ntfs file system

You will have to google it though as last I checked it wasnt available from the market.

I read somewhere that there is an app specialy made for the s3 to mount the external as internal, is there one for normal phones
