Accessories external signal booster - evo

Anyone know if there is a mobile signal booster for the evo yet ? Or something to put in a car to boost the signal ?

That's one. Wilson makes a wide variety of signal boosters and external antennas though

FWIW, something 20-30 bucks most likely isn;t going to give you any significant boost in signal which begs the question "why even spend that much?"

Check this out, it's called "cell ranger" and its fairly cheap, atleast at amazon, even though the product details seems like they are for a different product, but the technical details match up.

I'd like to see something like this that works for WiMax. I'm just at the edge of my local coverage. I can get a bar of 4G out in the street but in my house it can't get a signal.

It doesn't work with Sprint/NEXTEL Phones - regular sprint phones are fine.... still expensive though at $149.

All the external signal boosters/amps, repeaters, etc on the market are for 3G. I have been turning over every rock I can find for the above for somehing that will boost 4G, but I have found *NOTHING*.

Well, I have found antennas, but nothing to plug them into like a repeater or a amplifer/booster.

If you want to join the search for 4G boosters you can google stuf like:

2100 -2700Mhz
2.5 -2.7Ghz
802.16e

And see what you come up with. This is the repeater range for 4G WiMax. Post any thing you can find. I have found nothing so far.
