Help External speaker gone dead after 2 days

Hi there,

After two days of joy over my new Galaxy Note, suddenly the external speaker went dead!
Earphone still works fine, but external speaker on the back won't submit any sound at all.
It happend after 2 days, it came back on for one short time, but hours later it was dead again.
Tried hard reset, tried factory reset, tried wiping all, tried tapping on the speaker.... all to zero zilch effect.

I read about similar problems with Samsung Galaxy S and SII.

Anyone more with this problem?

unlucky! and no i dont have this problem. Take it back as a faulty unit.

I've been following quite some Galaxy Note threads and this is the first one I've seen someone report a dead external speaker, probably just a faulty unit.

Possibly the cable inside is lose which you wont be able to fix.

Hi,

I have the same problem with my note. Sometimes, the external (rear) speaker goes dead. If I press a little the rear speaker, the sound will came, but after a while (aleatory time), the speaker goes dead again.

I will send my note to repair.
