External Storage Unavailable

Good Day, Just bought SGS, and an 8GB micro SD. I plug the mem card and it is working fine, but after few days it is no longer recognized by the phone. I remove the SD card from the phone and put it on the SD slot of my laptop, but still no avail. I tried to put it using Card Reader on USB and I was able to format the Micro SD. But when I put the SD back on the phone it still shows not available.. Any suggestions please.... Thanks, B)

It could have been accidentally "unmounted". You can check it by going to:

Settings-->SD card and phone storage

Look at Total Space, does it show up the capacity of your card ?

Look at 3rd item, if it says "Mount SD card", then it was unmounted last time. Just click to mount it back.
