external storage

[Android Question]

lg optimus F3 virgin mobile

My phone's internal storage is filled up. I bought and inserted 16gig flash card, but when I download app it is not downloading to the flashcard. Is there some kind of setting I need to change to get the app to download to the flashcard. I think I will also need that for taking videos and photos since my internal memory is full.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

The flash card is used to store videos, music, ctc., so they don't take up internal storage. Most apps have to run from internal storage, downloads are to internal storage and, with most camera apps, pictures and videos go to internal storage (and you have to move them to external storage manually).
