Help extra charges

if phone has been off since august 29th and i want to pay september 29th will there be extra charges
and will i be able to keep my same number?

Do you mean your service was turned off August 29th? If so you won't be able to keep your number, it's lost when service ends.

Having extra charges will depend on your carrier, and if you were in a contract.

It also depends on the carrier. I killed a spare line and was told I could turn it back on, with the same number, within 90 days. So I guess they held that number back for three months in case I reinstated it. Which I did.

Verizon will give you 90 days the last time I asked.
that has been a few years back though.

far cheaper usually to just put that line on vacation.
