The manual says there is an option available called 'extra vol during calls' in the 'call setting' menu. I touch phone - menu - call settings and the option is not there. Any way to get the option? or is the manual obsolete. Using a galaxy S 3 SCH 1535 with android version 4.4.2 and most current update installed this AM Hardware version is 1535.10. I am on the Verizon network and phone is not rooted. I have installed volume+ free but see little difference in the volume during a call. Hate to install the full version since free version does nothing to increase call volume. any assistance would really be appreciated.

I have a Sprint GS3 with android 4.4.2. Never rooted. To increase the volume of the phone call, first you need to be in a call. Then just tap the small icon that appears directly above the "end call" button. This will not work when you have the headset plugged in.
I was looking for it today too. Looks like it changed in the Kitkat update. That's why it's different than the manual. It was there prior to kitkat.found the little button. Not at all what the manual says. Thanks for the help.
