Extracting Mail from Clockworkmod Image

Hello

I have a clockworkmod backup image taken from my S2 and wanted to know if it's possible to load up the image somehow (without installing it back onto an android phone) and extract the emails / text messages from it?

There must be someway of doing it?

Like some virtual rom reader program ?
