Apps Extracting permissions required for a given function

I was wondering if there is a way to way to extract set of functions associated with each permission for all android permissions available on Manifest.permission | Android Developers.

if you found a way to iterate over every method of every class in the SDK, I suppose you could look for SecurityExceptions / AccessControlExceptions

Otherwise maybe grep AOSP for "throw new AccessControlException" etc...

Thanks for the input. Regarding iteration of classes, I tried to find the folder containing all classes in android sdk folder but couldn't. Do you know any way to get around it?

They only ship the stub classes in the SDK (for javadoc), you would have to git clone AOSP
