Help Extraordinary Android Virus

Read from the beginning of this thread that I started. you will get the solution. The same issue was long solved and till now my phone never has that pornclub malware problem. Thanks to @ Handron who gave me the solution.
 
Hi - pornclub malware appeared on my Cubot Bobby android phone. I got rid of it by flashing the ROM. I found this site useful because it provided the 'ROM' and instructions.

Of course it provides ROMs for other phones too.
In common with other phones/tablets - you can use a combination of buttons on the side (Off/On and Volume Control Up / Down) - as the phone powers up - to access a menu. If one of the menu choices is something like 'Update from SD card' then you can use that to flash the ROM.
You'll need to get the ROM onto your SD card - so you'll need a PC or Mac. Put the downloaded ROM (as a Zip file - don't unzip it) into the top directory of your SD card. Return the SD card to your phone, and
then (using the menu) opt to update from SD card. Guide it to the ROM on the SD card. You'll probably navigate your way using the volume up / down buttons.
If you flash the ROM - all your data, apps etc will be lost. So only do this as a very last resort - as you could brick your phone. It worked for my phone - but of course it may not work for yours. I should also point out that www.needrom.com provided a ROM that worked for me, but I tried several other sites before that where the download didn't work.
 
Heard a lot of similar cases. Here is quick fix which may help:

- Get 'System App Remover' app. Better get its original APK and store that on sd card for complete offline fix.
- Root your phone. That's required for removing system apps.
- Now reset your phone. (better take out sim and also remove wifi password (forget option) so that malware app does not connect to internet on its own.)
- Now install System App Remover from APK and locate any junk and suspicious apps. Especially look for "Pornclub" and remove that. Search for malicious APKs stored on SD card and remove them.
- Check if problem is resolved.
- If not then you may need to reflash stock ROM.

i have the same problem but my phone closes by itself...i was trying ton install a custom rom and it didnt install properly and now i have malware and stuff...plus when i try to logging with google from plystore the phone closes....my device is a Samsung galaxy s3 neo
 
OK, so I've had the virus app pornhub in my phone for 4 months or smthin... Currently it's already downloaded 10 other apps now and they are all system apps and I can't uninstall them.. My phones laggy as **** now, and sm apps jst randomly crash from time to time... Lol My keyboard jst crashed while I ws typing this. I'm gonna root it within 2 months cause I'm kinda busy now.. Thanks fr all of ur help
 
Guys,I have been facing the same problem for severeal months and i dont know what to do....there severeal other apps that pornclub diwnloaded in my phone like dream camera and painting lockscreen2 if i hard reset my phone an app called cool browser takes control of the phone and doesnt let me go beyond the installation wiz..so i guess hard resetting is not an option....help me guys....thank you in advance
 
If you're getting the same Pornclub problem with your Tecno M3, then it sounds like a problem that's common to many of them. Could be the whole lot left the factory with the adware/malware pre-installed, baked into the firmware. Only way to fix that would be to re-flash with a known good clean Tecno M3 firmware. And given what these are, cheapo China phones, probably be much easier to buy a new phone, or RMA for a refund if still within time.

Hi just signed up to the site don't quite know how but I seem to have got a malware rooted to android system ui and other system apps and it's installed apps I can't uninstall it and don't quite understand how to deal with it my phone is an Archos Helium 50d can you please advice thanks in advance as stated above by others when I tried factory reset it did nothing and I have no idea how to root or find a ROM or reflash first time I've had any problems
 
pornclub remove:
used avg to identify pup file: com.android.push.alarm (something like that). disabled it, cut it and pasted into download folder, then deleted it (would not delete in system folder). this one was tough. used es file explorer pro to navigate folders.
