Help Face book installing and installing and installing

Anyone ever had this happen? Downloaded an update after the 2.1 upgrade and I sync'd my contacts with FB. It then deleted all of my contacts.

So I deleted Facebook, re-stored all my contacts and reloaded Facebook.

However, now it gets as far as installing and it never stops. It just stays on Installing...

However, the FB app works fine on the phone itself.

Is this a Market glitch? Is there anyway I can purge it from out of my downloads section?

PLEASE tell me I dont have to re-set everything??

Have tried logging in and out of Google talk, removed the battery, cleared cahce etc etc, but nada. Still stuck on installing :-(

I had this problem, I cancelled the download (was stuck at "Starting Download"), then signed out of Google Talk, signed back in and redid the download. It worked.

I cant even cancel the damb thing though. Where the cancel button would have been, all there is is INSTALLING, but you cant even tap that as its blacked out...

Sigh. Im gonna have to re-set arnt I??? :-(
