This might already be available standard in the new Android updates when this became available but I have no idea how to use it and I would like to be able to hold a database available as a file that I can extract. For example, I take a picture and then I will be available to search through my database and if it's there it will tell me what information about that person I already got it. If there's isn't any I get the options to add anything. Sort of like tagging used on facebook and other social media but my point of interest is more based upon usage of the technique rather than a social gadget. A good point of usage for this would be to snap a shot from an actor in a movie, check the database and see if I get a hit. Then I could via that hit search imdb.com and get information almost instantly about the movie I'm watching.

Two requirements: No rooting required (you can recommend it anyway but I won't be able to use it for now) and support for Xperia Pro since that's my phone.

Not a requirement but preferable: it's open source.
