Has anyone managed to get face unlock working? Ive tried everything including zips from xda that were for other phones with face unlock disabled in the settings.

Yes its possible but not worth the hassle, I actually completely removed it from my ROM as it is a redundant feature IMO that only works in daylight lol

Well I'd be great if someone could get it working and post a zip or something. Haven't tried it and just wanna see.

how can i change the unlock screen or can i? i want the older unlock screen back that shows %of charged battery?

From Settings -> Security, first selection. Also battery only shows up when actually charging (unless added an option in KitKat from)

Well guys I took the sprint nexus s aosp 4.1.2 ROM and moved the settings apk over to the system of the KitKat v2.1 ROM and it works after a reboot. It opens up the option for having face unlock and tethering. Tethering isn't working but could be fixed. I'll post the .apk and the face unlock zip that works soon here

I wish I had one. My memories ly in my old touch pro 2. Got android 2.1 2.2 and 2.3 on there with the energy ROM for windows mobile devices

Glad I read this, been wondering about removing it. One less piece of crap ware in my phone. I have no use for it.

I actually use it, but it is impossible to use in extreme high/low light situations. However, I can usually get it to unlock in high light even though it is hard to see my face on the screen lol.
