Hi

Can anyone help with this Facebook Places thing. When I click on places it takes me to a screen where I can see where my current friends are. I click Check In and and it stays on the loading screen forvever. I try typing in a post code on the search bar, but nothing happens.

Any idea please. I am running a rooted X10i 2.0.46 FW 2.1-update1

Only a sugestion, as my places works so cant say its a common thing.
But try Uninstalling Facebook, and then re download and install from Market.
Worth a try...
 
Mine working fine too. Sorry, no other advice other than what's been given and also possibly a signal strength thing or maybe being in an area where no-one has checked in so there is nothing listed at your location? Not totally sure how it works.

I think I was able to replicate and solve your problem.
Stupid Q of the day: Have you turned on the GPS?

Once I did that, it worked fine.
 
I am a sad and lonley person with only a hundred and something. Your phone book couldn't cope with your joining facebook too.
 
lol to be fair i doubt i'd use it - the only useful things i have to share with people goes on TWITTER - cos its cool - or jokes that get sent to groups in my SMS app
 
Tbh i never use places :L why tell my friends where i am, if im already with them? lol wheres the logic in that ? :L
