Facebook Messenger VP David A. Marcus talked about the launch of chatbots. He says the launch was overhyped in the beginning, largely due to lack of time for developers to create meaningful chat bots.
That said, he feels the program is progressing in the way they'd hoped with businesses introducing engaging chatbots every day and users taking advantage of their unique abilities.
