Facebook and email....really?

Why can I only see the last 20 posts on Facebook? I click on "older posts", but then it says, "An error has occured while fetching data (null)" Only the last 20 posts are showing up. And while I'm mentioning that, my email only shows the last 20 emails I received. So, when I go to check an older email, what do I do? Blackberry would store a ton of them. Anyone else have this issue? Is it a settings thing? I changed what I thought it might be, but it doesn't say how many emails to store in my phone.

I had the same problem with my Incredible with the stock version of the Facebook client. Updating the app from the Market fixed this issue.

I'm not sure about your email problem. I can view what looks like thousands of messages via the Gmail client. Which email app are you using?

I don't know what it is with facebook. I don't think there's an option in the settings that restricts the amount of posts you can view. At least not in Version 1.5...
Same goes for you're email. If there isn't a setting for it, it must be some sort of internet problem.

How long has this been going on? Has it ever worked the way you wanted it to?

Hey, thansk for responses. The Facebook issue seems top come and go, kinda strange and I read somewhere that it may be facebook and not my phone. Dunno. It worksed well today. The email thing never worked like I wanted it to. I am using the app that came preloaded, I think. What the Gmail client?

Check your email account settings. I know with Exchange type accounts, you tell it how far back you want to sync email. It defaults to some low value like 3 days or something.

I don't know about other accounts types... but worth a look.

I have this issue, but only when on data. When on wi-fi it works fine. Notifcations in app and out of app also have the same problem.

for email...you mean the gmail app? It should load more as you scroll down.
