Help Facebook and Gmail Apps not showing notifications?

Hi,

I'm thinking they are problems with the apps. Both Facebook and Gmail apps have notifications checked off to show when new messages are received but they never put a notification in my notification panel of my phone or sound a tone or vibrate even tho they are set to. Anyone else have this problem and is there a way to fix it?

Same problem here. I was searching for an answer and found your post. Any words of advice?

I get a gmail notification using the GMAIL app. There is a setting in the GMAIL app for "Email notifications". Check the box.

Facebook doesnt work I am pretty sure.

Make sure you have set enable mobile data all the time and test it out.

Have you turned off "auto sync" under Accounts and Sync?
