Facebook app active sessions

KatieDoc

Lurker
I was wondering if anyone can tell me why I keep seeing a bunch of active sessions on the Facebook app. I'm using metro pcs, btw. Sometimes it says device unknown, but I've noticed that in the past few days that one says it's from my device, and they're always in Texas. I live in Philadelphia, pa and know no one in Texas. I'm just wondering what this is about. Is someone else accessing my account?

This isn't caused by the FB application... It's how FB choose to display the timeline. Whenever a friend of yours interact with their friend(s) - I guess it automatically shows on your timeline. If that's what you are talkin about.

I'm sure that your account has not been compromised. :)

No, not on the timeline. I mean under app settings - security - active sessions. I'm on there with my device, but so is someone else (on my device in Texas).

Then you might need to further investigate why is that so.

That's what I'm trying to find out. Anyone know how I can find out who this is and/or how to change this? I've already changed my password so that's not going to help. I would like to get to the bottom of this.

I just looked at mine, and I have some one in Washington state, doing the same thing. I live in Az....maybe it is just a mistake?

I don't know but would like to find out. Also, after I remove the active session, it just comes back a little later.

it is ip adress may be you are using hotspot shield or something like that!!
i use hotspot shield and it shows active sessions form USA , UK and sometimes germany :D
P.S: turn on login approval for extra security
