Facebook App is Ticking me off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok for some reason this dam app wont make my phone notifications go off when some one comments on my post or tags me in something! Never had this issue before till now and ive tried everything and cant figer it out. I turned off and on the notifications in fb and everything and i got it to work for one time and now it wont work again. The issue is related to my account cause i made a new fb account just to see if it would work and it works on it just not on mine. So since its doing this crap i don't hear my phone when some one tags me or ask a ? and i don't know its going off till i open the phone and see the # on my facebook icon. before it would make a sound and now it wont.

any ideas?

i have tried it on 2 phones same results. im thinking bad as a i hate to im going to have to make a new FB account and start over.

Before doing anything drastic, uninstall/disable this app and try one of the many alternative FB clients available from the Play Store.

I'd say hold for a bit. The Vulcan is complaining about the same thing in Yahoo Mail with FB. (desktop)He no longer can click a link when the kid posts on FB. He just gets a notice of a new post if even that. No more direct link to FB. FB might just want you logging in for everything and is working the bugs out on notifying.

It sounds FB might just want the FB app open all the time. If not that, FB synced with email or messenger?

well it started working all sudden I messed around with settings and everything for about a hour don't know what happen or what was changed but its working now now if I could only find a good alternative FB client that has the same opitions where your phone would vibrate and ding when u get a message or comment that would be sweet. I have tried quite a few FB clients and have yet to find one that has such a option.
