Facebook App Status Update Character Limit

I've noticed that I can't type the full 240 characters into the update field in the Facebook app. It cuts me off at 160. Is it just me, or is the app falling short?

I've noticed that I can't type the full 240 characters into the update field in the Facebook app. It cuts me off at 160. Is it just me, or is the app falling short?

Yeah the app stops short. If i have a longer message i just open up my browser and use touch.facebook.com. In fact i use the browser most of the time for facebook anyways, the only time i use the facebook app is occasionally to set my status so that is says" updated from android"
