Facebook app - when will it get updated??

I cant receive notifications either, even I go into the app it says I dont have any but when I log into the website I do! Very annoying.

A lot of people have been using bloo, try giving that a go. Im just away to download it now.

i've tried bloo, but i still dont understand properly, do i need bloo open and running in the background or will it notify even if i have killed the app?

the news feed seems painfully slow and the one thing i do like about the stock fb app is that it is very fast loading.

i wish someone would make a simple fb notification updater of sorts, i dont care for a full fb app as the stock app does all i need atm, except for the notifications!
 
I dont see why those Face developers cannot take iPhone and make app that is identical to that app since it is perfect on iPhone. So many things they could learn from Apple programers.
 
I agree, I want full implementation, And a way so that you can upload videos directly to facebook as well.
 
Resurrecting this thread. Just wondering if there is anyone working on Facebook being updated. It would be nice to have a calendar merge, chat, and an option to view most recent posts vs most popular just like the website.
 
It would be nice to be able to tag photos, place photos as default edit photos, chat get real time notifications, a geo tagging or location option. A better more detailed interface etc. Basically just duplicate the iphones app. By the way I strongly urge anyone who is as disgusted with the face book app as I am to go on the market and pick up "go chat" and "blue notify". Those 2 apps do the job the official face book app can't or in my oppinion refuse to do. I wonder if this has any thing to do with with the politics and rivalry between face book and google????

I like "Blue Notifiy". Works well.
