Facebook APP

Hey, I just downloaded the facebook app. I noticed it synced all of my contacts which I liked. I sat down and merged the contacts and everything was great. Once I logged out, the contacts went away. I logged back in and the came back, but I had to merge them again. Is there a way to keep those contacts in my phone book when I log out?

Do you have Facebook option checked in contacts/people?
Contacts/people>menu>view....you will see options there :)

I don't think you can. Same if you log out of your actual Google account from the phone. The only thing that should be left would be data for contacts you created yourself.

I may be wrong, but that's what I'm aware of.

When I hit menu it gives me these options:

Delete
My Profile
Contacts Data Sync
Import/Export
Backup
More

Will it work if I export them?

If it's just battery you're worried about, open the app, tap the Facebook so you get all the icons with new pictures at the bottom. Hit the menu button, tap settings, and tap the drop-down arrow next to "Refresh interval", which will be at the top. Select, "Never", and it will only connect to the internet when YOU hit refresh.

Ugh yeah, that's so frustrating. Facebook Notifications have never worked, to my knowledge. I'd like to keep my inbox clean, but nooooo.

Yea same here. I just send my status comments to sms and say screw it.

What's a long press, delete thread once a day matter?!
