hey guys i know that topics like this have been done to death but i havent found one yet that covers my exact problem - most cant get facebook to sync at all.
i can get it to sync every time, which is fine - but the problem is that when it goes to update the next hour, all the relationships between phone contacts and fb contacts are lost - the facebook contacts ARE still there in people when you go into the online phonebooks menu, but they are no longer assigned to phone contacts, nor am i prompted to link them again.
it seems to happen only when it tries to sync using mobile internet - i dont think the problem exists when using wifi.
also the facebook status updates don't always work.
any ideas?

edit: this is the facebook for htc sense app im talking about, although the same thing happens when trying to sync contacts with the actual facebook app.
what i want is for facebook for sense to sync contacts and live feed, but for facebook to sync nothing, and just be there to log in to the app.
