Facebook authentication failed

i cant log in from my mobile sins few days , used to work , but dnt no wht happan keeo getting messge Facebook authentication failed, when i log in from my pc it work fine. i have alredy tryed to uninstall and downloaded new verstion still same problem, i also tryed to log in from difrent fone stil sme problem.
is there any one can solve my problem

Hello and welcome to the forum. The problem you are having has been an "ongoing and vexatious" one for most users. I've had this problem not to long ago. However, I've manage to find a way to eradicate the the problem. Here's what I did
 
I have this exact same problem and occurred 2 days ago. I'm using a galaxy s2 as well. However the day i got the error message, was the day i got a message informing me that someone logged into my account from south Korea. I live in Canada so i quickly changed my password and have been having this problem since... I've tried everything from clearing cache, reinstalling but no luck... Everything works fine on my PC, but the app and mobile browser keeps logging me out. Hope they find something to solve this problem soon.
 
This could also be the result of the process of the worldwide launch of the updated Facebook timeline profile. However, you should be able to at least login to your account. I have to wonder if this problem is only happening with the Samsung Galaxy S2 phones. Make sure you are using the latest version of the FB for android app.

I had the same problem on my EVO 3d - I changed the password and that fixed the problem. In the meantime you can use an application called
 
I checked out friend caster but it won't work for me since it requires me to log in through the mobile version of Facebook. Since i can't log in through the Web browser of Facebook on my phone it won't work in friend caster...
 
Yet another attempt... From your PC log into your FB account and proceed to the help section - from there look to see if this problem has been mentioned and/or if anyone has found a solution.

Since this is the "introduction section" it would be best for us to start a thread about 'facebook for android login problems' in the Android Applications - Android Forums.
 
I've had the same issue. I've uninstalled facebook app, cleared data, cleared cache, update the facebook app, on wifi, on 3G, battery pull and now even resorted to a factory reset and have had absolutely no luck!

I can't log in via web or the apps on my HTC Desire S phone - and I've changed the password twice on my PC (which works), updated my city in my work place, disconnected other appliances, search high and low on the internet and not found anything that works....

I've also sent a message to Facebook as they say if you've got a problem with 'Facebook Authentication Failed' to fill out a form...not helpful

It will log in with my work account for some reason but not my personal- I'm really stuck what to do next! Wishing I never agreed a contract for this thing now especially as I'm a social media manager at work...

Anyone got anything else new I can try? :(
 
It seems you have covered all of the bases. My only question would be.. do you have another FB app installed? Sometimes apps will overlap the login info and even after a factory reset... it will glean your authentication from the other app. I'm grasping at straws here... would like to be of help. On another note, you might try a different FB app from the market. There are many that use something besides the stock app to connect to FB. I use the stock app so I don't have a third party that I can recommend. I do hope you can resolve your connection problem.
 
The problem seems to be fixed for me now. I am able to log in no problem. I just waited it out until FB fixed it i guess. Or maybe the issue report i send went through. Hope it works out for the rest of you. Good luck!
