Facebook birthday's to Calendar?

I have searched the forums but can't seem to figure this out. I have facebook contacts that have birthdays associated with them on my phone but they don't seem to be going on the calendar, they are only listed with the contact. I went to calendar - settings - calendar sync and it shows facebook sync is on with both contacts and calendar checked? Anyone else have this problem?
