Help Facebook Calendar

I understand the new 2.2 update allows the HTC Calendar to sync with Facebook birthdays. Hurray.

I want to be able to enable this feature, but I do NOT want all of my facebook contacts in my contact list.

I'm guessing to get the "Facebook" option in the Calendar menu I need to enable 'sync with facebook' under the account menu in the phone, however won't that also sync all my contacts?

I just want to see people's birthdays, not them....

There should be an option, like on the official twitter app, to sync only phone contacts.

Pull up HTC Calendar and after hitting menu, choose more, then Calendars and there should be a list of calendars, you can check facebook on or off. I for one don't want to see everyone's birthday on my calendar, so I unchecked it.

This works. I just wish there was a way to keep some birthdays and not others.
