Facebook Chat Notification sound?

Is there any? You know when your IMing someone and for example they say brb and u put ur phone in ur pocket... then u have no idea when they IM you back cause theres no "pop" or sound. I've tried turning on all the notifications but those only seem to be for comments or messages. Just some sort of audible sound for the chat would be amazing :(
 
None that I have found. The FB app still sucks, even though it has come a long way. I get no chat notification sound or LED light, just the notification in the status bar. Of course that is useless if your phone screen is off.
 
yeah, the facebook app doesn't keep you signed into chat.. which I can understand it would use more memory and make your battery die faster. But I think it should be an option that you could choose for yourself. whether you want to stay logged in at all times to chat or log you off.

I tried getting some friends to use google chat since it's always logged in on my android but I couldn't get enough people to use it.. and they all use facebook more often then any other IM client.

does anybody know of the best possible app I could use to keep me logged into facebook chat? I won't be adding aim, msn, or any other IM login info to it.. I just want to stay logged into facebook chat so people can reach me if needed. I had been using trillian for android when I was still trying to use the different networks. but I'm tired of having 10 different IM accounts. So I think I'm just going to stick to facebook.. unless they decide to include video and voice with google talk in the future.

but what app would you recommend for staying logged in on facebook chat?
