I'm running Oxygen (a Gingerbread ROM) on my Desire. This ROM doesn't have Sense and it is therefore the first time I'm running the normal Android Facebook app - HTC has its own version for Sense.
On Sense, I could let my contacts on the phone show their Facebook pictures and the same function appears under Settings in the normal Facebook app. So I go to Settings, scroll down to Sync Contacts and choose Sync with existing contacts. This works a charm.
But every now and again, I notice it's not working (no Facebook pics). So I go back into the Facebook app, go to Settings, and Sync Contacts is suddenly set to Don't Sync. So I change it again and it works again. Until it stops working again.
I used to think it had something to do with Facebook sync not starting up when the phone starts, but that doesn't seem to be the problem.
Anyone else see this? Better yet: anyone else fix this?
