Facebook Contacts Sync HTC Wildfire - new to android

HI,

I am totally new to android and use to iPhone and blackberry.

I want to sync only contacts to Facebook from my own phone book. When i select sync contacts from phonebook, it downloads all of them that have telephone numbers with them.

Is there a way to sync with face from your phone contacts.

I did the sync all as well and it downloaded all of the contacts...

Please help, this is so stupid that it downloads all of your Facebook friends...

Did it not ask you if you want it to sync all or just existing contacts? HTC uses a different Facebook app so I can't be sure. Try going to menu-settings-accounts and sync-your Facebook account-check if there is a sync only to existing contacts setting. My Samsung has it.
