Help Facebook Contacts

Some how I linked my Facebook with my phone and all of my Facebook friends are in my phone now. I DO NOT WANT THIS. When I go to delet that contact in my phone it says that I need to delet them from my facebook account, however I do not want to do that. How can I delet my facebook contacts from my phone?

If you go to the top of the contacts screen, it should say "Contacts: All Contacts". Click it and it should let you choose which contacts to see, like google, facebook, or phone, etc.. But I think you have to do that every time you reopen Contacts.

I didn't like that either. So what I did was instead of signing into Facebook through "My Accounts" I only signed into the "Facebook for Android" app. I can't remember if that linked the pictures of the same friends with my phonebook, but for some reason I had to install "SyncMyPix" to link the pictures. But at least I don't see all my facebook friends in my Contacts. Lol

Try that out and see if it works for you. =)

I found this...

open gmail, hit menu, hit accounts, hit add account...poof, there's the facebook account that's linked to the phonebook...hidden under the gmail menu...idiots.

at least this is what I think...My FB was NOT set up and my phonebook wasn't using the FB pics, so I had to install sync my pix.

since all my contacts are synced with sync my pix I'm not sure how to test this, but you should be able to go in and verify if you have a check mark next to your fb.....unfortunately I can't see how to remove it from there.
