Help Facebook does not connect

Hi
My S3 suddenly wont connect to facebook, either via wi-fi or 3g?
I have uninstalled facebook and installed again but did not work. I have restarted my phone but no luck.
I simply says: Connection lost, and tap to retry...

My wifi works and 3g. I can access the internet and other programs. Just facebook, and just recenty and can

Is your Facebook account in good standing? Can you log into Facebook from a PC? Try going to menu>settings>accounts and removing your Facebook account there and then re-creating it in the app.

Are you only having problems with the app, or are you unable to connect to the website as well? Facebook's app seems to regularly lose the ability to function correctly - you may end up needing to connect to the mobile site for a while until an update fixes whatever it is they broke this time.
