Hi, I have an HTC One V. I have checked data usage today and today only facebook has used 8mb of data. This seems very excessive. How can I reduce this usage and access facebook settings? Any help would be appreciated.

when you exit the facebook app.. back all the way out with the back button..
facebook has a tendency to stay running in the backround..
another option would be to avoid the app all together.. but anyway 8mb is not much at all.. that would only add up to about 240mb a month... less than 1/8 of a 2gb data cap...
or if your extremely strict on your data usage.. try either juice defender.. or turn data off when your not using your phone
