Facebook for android - can't change account

Hey guys. I've got an xperia x10 that my girlfriend was using for awhile. Shed set herself up on facebook for android. Now the fine I'd mine and I'm trying to change it to my dacebook. I've tried deleting her account and adding mine but it still shows my gfs facebook stuff. Wall posts, notification the lot. I tried deleting yhe account again, rebooting the done, readding my account and rebooting again but it still shows my gf's facebook details. I can't even uninstall the app to start fresh.

Any ideas?

I still havent worked this issue out, there just doesnt seem to be any way to change the account over, even after changing the account details. It just wont let go of the old account!

Did you change the account in both the Facebook app and in your phone accounts? Make sure they both are changed.

You just need to go to the initial facebook page with news feed, profile etc and click the left of the three main buttons on the phone (not the screen). The one with the four squares!. Then you can log out of facebook and sign in with another fb account.

i used to get updates on my phone when someone commented and stuff like that, on my settings it only gives the events,friend requests ,and chat messages which do work but i used to get the same reminders when someone commented any ideas it happened after i logged out on my phone and relogged in.

Your android's browser has stored the old username as a cookie. Using the browser app, surf to facebook. Scroll to the LOG OUT link at the bottom of the screen. Once logged out, log back in using your new username/password.
