Facebook for Android - false notifications?

Anyone else have Facebook always throw them notifications during periodic checks, when nothing is really there? Sometimes I press the notification and it just goes away, doesn't even take me to facebook, and other times it takes me to facebook but there is nothing there. Is there a way to fix this, or is it just buggy?

One more thing, Watchdog, an app that reports services that use too much CPU, always gives me alerts about facebook, its gone over 45%.

Facebook now gives you alerts for list updates if you have lists. For some reason, the app shows you the notification alert bubble, but the notif does not appear in the list. It appears in the mobile web version though.
