Facebook for Android trouble loading

I bought my RAZR M about a month ago and from day 1 haven't been able to use the Facebook app. I can sign in and get notifications but my news feed will not load, I get trouble loading message. I signed into the app using my husband's account and it works fine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, logged out and back in and nothing fixes it. I've been using Chrome to access Facebook but it has its downfalls, like the inability to make pictures full screen. I love the phone but this Facebook app issue is very aggravating. Any help would be appreciated.

Two things:

1. try to go in and clear the cache and data for the facebook app. That may help if it has something corrupted in it. Uninstalling the app and reinstalling it wont fix that if you have auto backup stuff installed as it will just reinstall the save settings file when you reinstall the app again.

2. Facebook is currently rewriting the entire Facebook app for Android as it really does suck so bad. As a matter of fact Mark Zuckerburg the CEO of Facebook forced all his programming team to only use Android phones till they get the new app done as an incentive to motivate them. They have announced several times that they know the app is poorly written. If you can hang in there a bit we will have a new app soon.

Had the same problem, check your date and time and time zone. After making this correct, it fixed the problem. Also make sure in the "Settings" that "Blocking Mode" is turned off.
