Facebook friends filtering

On my regular "desktop" Facebook I'm able to successfully filter "friends" who annoyingly and incessantly post things--so I don't see their posts. But on my Android (LG Revolution) Facebook App...those annoying people show up. Anybody know how to quiet them, so they can remain as friends but I don't have to see their stuff? Thanks!

That's strange... my app "feeds" off my main (desktop) account settings so I don't see those people/posts either. As far as I understood that is how the app works, as a viewing tool for the desktop account rather than a separate one in itself with separate settings.

Are you allowing the account to synch (settings>accounts and synch) with the main account?

My FB app also filters the same as the web app.
