Facebook link redirect to ads

Hi,

I don't know what happen with my phone (gs4 i9500) that cause from facebook link. Normally, when click on any website's link, it'd go to that website. But currently, when I click, it redirect to that website but, suddenly, it load another ads instead that I can't return to original website even if i click back. I try to clean with many cleaning tools, scan with any antivirus, uninstall and install facebook but it still have same problem.

What's that problem? Anybody here have faced this problem?

How are you connected to the Internet at the moment. Because "free" WiFi can do things like that occasionally, because they're inserting ads into your browsing. Like what you might find at some hotels, fast food restaurants and shopping malls, if that's what you're currently using. And the solution to that problem, is to use a VPN, so they can't packet sniff, use fooky proxies, data insertion and undesirable redirects.

I have that problem too and it has nothing to do with free internet access as I'm using my own WiFi. The easiest way to get around this is to click on the top right and open in web browser. I might be wrong, but it could probably be Facebook bombarding you with all the ads.

I connect with my home wifi. Few day ago, it didn't like this. But after I click one link to watch video then it become like this till now. Is this malware or adware? Sorry, I'm not familiar with how to use VPN or fooky proxies.

How can while it not yet full loading the whole website then it redirect immediately to ads. :)

Presumably the link opens in a browser, so if your browser has become infected with adware that could explain this. Do you have the problem using the browser generally, or just with FB links?

Redirections occur when links are opened in the Facebook app, at least for me. Opening the links in a browser works fine without any redirections to some advertisements.

It looks like your WiFi on your phone is high jacked. Go to phone WiFi settings and clear them or reset. Remove proxy and uncheck manual. Also do forget network then reconnect it with your wife password. Uninstall all apk that you installed recently.

When I click link in browser, it didn't load any ads site. This happen only in FB link. How to solve this?

Ok, I'll try. But where is remove proxy setting? I can't find it.

Sorry for delay. Go to Wi-Fi settings and normally just hold down the line where Wi-Fi shown in the settings. It depends on your phone model. Message should pop up showing settings. Click show more or something like this.
 
I have the same problem, regardless if I connect using the home wifi or 3G. I click a link in facebook and the default browser opens an ad, that eventually redirects to google play. If I go back to the browser, I look in the page history and all I have is some "clickad?blabla",but not the original link. I go back to facebook app and I click again the same link, it works fine, browser opens correct link and am not redirected to play.

First I thought I pressed something by mistake, but from time to time this happens (like once a day) ... Any ideas ?
