Help Facebook Messenger Doesn't Work Over Mobile Data Connection

Hello, the Facebook Messenger App does not work when I switch to a Mobile Data connection; however, it DOES work over WIFI. Can anyone help me with this? If I uninstall and reinstall the app it seems to cooperate but I can't be doing this everyday...

I don't use it, but sometimes in Settings there is a place to check for Wi-Fi only. Try the Settings.

Sounds like a bug. Did you report it to Fb?
Sometimes if your data connection is weak it will do that also.

Mine works. I'm on Verizon. I don't know if the carrier would make a difference.
