Help Facebook messenger etc.. fix?

Hey guys,

Facebook on desire HD has sucked since I got it, the instant messenger is absolutely useless, it rarely updates and every time the screen locks on my phone it drops out and has to reload. This makes IM'ing almost impossible. SO i've had to start using the facebook message sending screen to send facebook emails... And these often don't update.

I've tried various versions of facebook and they all absolutely farking suck. I'm at the point where I'm going to buy an Iphone next just because I use facebook socially alot and it's absolutely useless on this phone.

Has anyone found any fixes to messages not updating when sent, the IM not working well or at all or found a way to make sure when facebook updates it actually does update? Or how to stop it sending event invites over and over?

Is there a shell someones made for facebook or something in an app?

I know the app's pretty rubbinsh, but have you tried using the mobile internet web version? That allowed me to poke people and, as I'm haveing a bit of a poke war with 2 friends, it came in quite useful!

The FB app on mine is constantly setting of my Watchdog app for going way over the CPU usage it should be. It has been using over 50% for two days now. I decided to try the mobile website, and it is so good, such a better interface and the notifications are at the top of the pages like in the normal web version. I would definitely recommend using that instead

Yeh, i've used the mobile web version, I just don't like that I have to go to the site and cannot use an app.. I know it sounds odd, just that I browse a fair bit and the app is convenient.. shame, oh well

Try Go! Chat, never had any problems with that.
