Facebook Messenger SMS Issue

I'm not getting any notifications or anything no matter what I tried to do with the facebook app for text messages coming in. Any ideas?

I'm currently switched back to my other texting app which again works fine.

Check the settings on facebook of course. But if everything looks fine, try this free app if you want to go over the top to try to solve your issue.

Lightflow (the free version) will customize your notifications. It will give each app/person a unique notification color (hardware dependent), sound, sound reminder pattern, vibration and vibration pattern. Or any combination thereof. You can also set it just to work for facebook to see if it fixes this one issue.

(I am 90% sure that facebook is available with the free version. The free and paid versions have the same functionality. Just the paid version works with a huge amount of apps and the free version works with a smaller subset.)
