I'm having a problem with my Facebook app and my Samsung Galaxy S3's notification settings. It seems that my Facebook app's notification volume does not sync properly when I put my phone's notification volume on mute.
I want my phone to go completely silent at night, except for my ringtone and alarm. When I put vibrate and notifications all the way down, Facebook still makes noise. It's only when I put my ringtone completely silent that Facebook goes silent... but then I won't know if I get calls.
Why is it that Facebook notifications are controlled by the ringtone and not with the notification volume? It's annoying to have to go into Facebook every night and specifically turn off its notifications, rather than just mute my phone's notification volume.
