Help facebook notifications not getting through

i have both s2 and s4
both have facebook app installed
i would get all push notifications on s2, but on s4 sometimes i don't get anything until i reboot

is this just a glitch with app or s4?

I've not had any problem with facebook notifications. This is not typical behavior on the S4.
