Facebook problem

I use a S3 and FB wont let me update status. The fb app just crashes...

What app are you using? The FB for Android application on the Play Store is somewhat in pretty good shape to be used nowadays. If this is what you are talking about, then try sweeping/clearing data from that app.

Uninstalling/reinstalling does a good job as far as wiping out any corruption within the app.

if something like this happens to my apps, I just open up browser, go to the site and do it. But reinstalling should work as well. If not, I think there are more than one FB app.

those FB apps suck anyways...go with the browser!
