Help Facebook Push Notifications ?

Is anyone getting push notification in the facebook app is there anyway to even turn it on? mines set to receive notifications time is set to never.

Sorry i miss read.....Yes i get them. I think i read somewhere that you gotta have android 2.2 for it to work, not sure if you updated your wildfire yet. As my Desire is running froyo maybe it's different cause i also got 3 wildfires but they are all still running 2.1 and they don't get push notification

oh...maybe it is something the wildfire can not do.....As soon as Tesco release Froyo for wildfire i'll test the push thing out and let you know what happens but would seem if it's not working for you then it's a no go

but gmail should have push notifications that why they updated the application but not even notifications in that either

This is one of the main reasons i wanted to update my wildfire to froyo, but it doesn't seem to work.

ryanraven, I followed your tutorial on the link below and I'm now on 2.2.1 but mine doesn't work either. Annoying :/

yeah this is why i updated because of push notifications looks like out phones aint supported :-(

Not wanting to sound stupid, however I'm sure i will! Lol. I'm new to the whole android club and was qondering what this froyo is and what a push notification is meant to be? sorry to sound dumb x

alright...

1. go into your Facebook app
2. Click the htc menu button on the bottom of your phone
3. Click settings
4. Un-tick the notifications box
