Help Facebook SMS Notification Problem

I'm having problems getting Facebook to send SMS notifications to my Optimus. I have the phone set up and confirmed in FB but no texts arrive. When I go to my Notifications page on FB, there is no column to check SMS notifications (only email). Anyone have any idea how I can fix this? I am wondering if this is a problem with VM or the Optimus because I have checked every possible setting in FB!!

If there is no option to send SMS on Facebook then that sounds like a Facebook issue to me.

I don't have a facebook account so I can't give it a try.

Yep, signed up for that long ago, it worked for like a day then never worked again. Dunno if its carrier side. I use Virgin.
