facebook sync?

is there a good app to sync events/bdays and emails to the phone book? the social network plug-in that defaults with the droid 2 seems like its always running thus draining the battery like crazy?

after trying out the add account in my accounts, still cant get a sync, to where photos show up on contacts in phone, or emails added, ect...

Have you tried going into the "People" app opening the Settings from the bottom 4 buttons clicking View and making sure "Facebook for HTC Sense" is selected?

I don't run Friend Stream at all after the initial phone set up, but my Facebook friends stay sync'd in the People app and their birthdays (seemingly a day off) stay sync'd in Calendar.

Try using ebobirthday. It's free from the market. It takes a while to setup, but once done it seems to work correctly.
