My gallery photos have all been moved to my Facebook app. I've been told that all fotos etc that are in my gallery will now be in the foto section of Facebook and this is as a result of an update done several we weeks ago. Does anyone know if this is true?. I have changed my note 8 so that it does not update automatcally. Do I also have to make the change to my phone?

"Gallery" shows all pictures that Media Scan finds on the phone, there's no "gallery location". So now evidently Facebook also uses Media Scan to find all pictures to show. If you don't have a backup of an older Facebook apk you can try searching for one. Or if you know someone using an older version, they can back it up with an app like App Backup and Restore that backs up to apk files, then you can uninstall Facebook on your phone and install that apk file.
