Root Factory data reset

This may be a stupid question, but I just want to make certain of it before I do it! I have a Razr maxx rooted, and want to do a factory data reset, is there anything special I need to do first? Will doing the FDR mess anything up since I'm rooted? Thank you for your time!

You won't lose root. It wouldn't be a bad idea to take out your SD card before doing the FDR, but doing it shouldn't impact either the internal or external SD cards. I think you may be prompted as to whether you want to format the internal SD card, but I'm not 100% on that.

If you have Titanium Backup installed, I'd recommend doing a full backup first. :)

Thanks for your input! I'm no stranger to doing resets, have done many on phones, I've just nvr tried a FDR on a rooted phone before!
